Flormar Pin-up Sesión de Maquillaje / Make Up Session

Han sido unas semanas un poco difíciles para mí, entre nervios y poco sueño, mi piel ha notado la ansiedad con muchos granitos internos y unas ojeras infernalmente oscuras y profundas, así que cuando desde Flormar me dijeron que querían hacerme una sesión de maquillaje usando algunos productos de su nueva línea pin-up y darme algunos para probar, me alegraron los días. Fuí al del centro comercial l'Illa de Barcelona dónde estaban Ana, Damaris y Geordina (encantadoras y guapísimas las tres) y dónde también me había maquillado antes Mar (para ver esa sesión click aquí). Y esta vez tuve el placer de que Geordina (maquilladora salida de Stick Art Studio hará un par de años) me maquillara.

The last weeks have been pretty difficult for me, I've been nervous and without a lot of sleep, and my skin has showed this anxiety with a lot of pimples under the skin and deep and really dark dark circles, so when Flormar told me that they wanted to do a make up session using some of their new products from their pin-up line I got really happy. I went to the l'Illa shopping center in Barcelona where the lovelies and gorgeous Ana, Damaris and Geordina were working and also where Mar did my make up the last time (to read about that make up session click here). And this time the charming Geordina (a make up artist from Stick Art Studio for two years) did my make up.

Empezamos retirando el maquillaje de los ojos con su Advice Make-Up Remover y lo poco que me quedaba en la piel con su magnífica Advice Cleansing milk (muy, muy aconsejable probarla).

We started by taking off my eye make up with the Advice Make-up Remover and what was left on my skin with their wonderful Advice Cleansing Milk (I really, really recommend it).

Después preparó la piel con Invisible Pores que, como su nombre indica, minimiza los poros, y con la CC02, con la que ya me habían sorprendido la última vez (otro producto altamente recomendado, sobre todo para las que sufráis de rojeces).

A continuación vino el dilema de qué base usar porque las luces artificiales engañan y hace que parezca más oscura de lo que soy: primero pensó en probar con la base que contiene sérum Fusion Power Foundation Serum y después con un color de su Perfect Coverage Foundation (que, si no me equivoco, tiene un FPS 15) pero al quedarme las dos un pelín demasiado oscuras Ana sugirió probar la opción que Mar había sugerido la otra vez, con la CC04 (por cierto, aún y retirarme dos veces maquillaje de un lateral de la cara, con la leche limpiadora ¡no se enrojeció nada!, y eso que tengo la piel muy sensible).

She then prepared my skin with Invisible Pores that, as the name suggests, minimizes the pores, and with the CC02, which had already surprised me the last time (I also recommend it, and even more if you suffer from redness).

After that it was time for the dilemma of which foundation was the best for me, because artificial lighting always makes it look like I'm darker than what my actual skin tone is: first she thought about trying with the Fusion Power Foundation Serum (a base with serum) and than she tried a color of their Perfect Coverage Foundation (which, if I'm not mistaken, has a SPF 15) but they were both a bit dark for me so Ana suggested trying out what Mar had suggested the last time, the CC04 (by the way, even though she removed a couple of times some make up from one side of my skin, with the cleansing milk my skin didn't get any redness at all!, and I have extremely sensitive skin).

Para acabar de cubrir un poco las ojeras usó corrector con una brocha y lo asentó todo con Loose Powder con su brocha Blush-On Brush.

To finish up covering my dark circles she used a concealer with a brush and then settled everything with their Loose Powder on their Blusher Brush.

Después de crear una base fue la hora de lo divertido: empezar con los productos nuevos. Primero fue el turno del colorete en crema Smooth'N Blush en Light Coral, que me enamoró al instante por lo fácil que es de aplicar aún y su alta pigmentación, y del iluminador Radiant Pink, un rosita con un tono lavanda que da un leve pero notable brillo, que me aplicó con un Concealer Brush en los pómulos, debajo de las cejas, un poco en la barbilla y entre las cejas y en el puente de la nariz.

Para los ojos escogió una variedad de marrones. Empezó con un primer, sobre éste puso una sombra del tono de mi piel en todo el párpado y después aplicó un par o tres más (cada vez un tono más oscuro) en la cuenca del ojo, para seguir con un par de toques de negro que acabó difuminando con una brocha limpia (sin sombra, vaya).

After creating the base it was time for the fun part: trying out some of the new products. First she chose the cream blush Smooth'N Blush in Light Coral, which I loved instantly for its easy application although it's really pigmented, and the Radiant Pink highlighter, a light pink with a lavender tone to it that gives a soft but noticeable sheen to the skin, that she applied with their Concealer Brush on my cheek bones, under my eye brows, a bit on my chin and between my brows and on the bridge of my nose.

For the eyes she picked a variety of browns, she started with a primer and then a shadow in my skin tone color and applied it all over the lid and then applied a couple or three more (each one darker than the last one) on the socket line to finish with a couple touches of black that then blended with a clean brush (without any eye shadow).


No podía faltar el liner, para el que usó el nuevo rotulador Miracle Pen Slimtouch en negro.

My eyes weren't complete without eyeliner, for which she used the new Miracle Pen Slimtouch in black.

¿Qué fue lo siguiente? Usar una máscara de pestañas rosa en las pestañas inferiores, con la nueva Too Volume en Burgundy, para resaltar el verde de mis ojos, y arriba la Rotating, que gira en los dos sentidos (para que puedas aplicarla por encima y debajo de las pestañas) y las deja súuupernegras, voluminosas y largas.

And then it was time for mascaras: she applied a pink mascara on my lower lashes, with the new Too Volume in Burgundy, to make my green eyes stand out and the Rotating mascara on my upper lashes which rotates in both directions (so you can apply it above and under your lashes) and leaves them really black, volumious and long.

Y ¿qué nos falta? Los labios. Aquí fue dónde ya me dejo con la boca abierta cuando vi qué colores iba usar y aún más cuando vi el resultado: Unos labios muy carnosos gracias a un degradado con rojo, granate-marrón, negro y amarillo. Empezó por ponerles color con un Lipliner en 233 para prolongar la duración del color, después, con un pincel, aplico una capa del rojo y, para hacer el degradado, puso un poco del color granate oscuro desde las comisuras acercándose un poco al centro de los labios (pero sin llegar), un poco de negro (casi nada) en las comisuras y unos toques de amarillo en el centro de los labios para acabar de dar un efecto de volúmen a éstos.

And what's left? The lips. Here is where I was really surprised when I saw the colors she was going to use and even more when I saw the result: full lips thanks to a graduated shading with red, maroon-brown, black and yellow. She started by putting some red Lip liner in 233 to make the color last longer, then, with a brush, she applied a coat of the red lipstick and, to create the graduated shading, she placed a bit of the maroon-brown on the corner of the lips getting it close to the center (without reaching it), a bit of black (almost nothing) on the corners and some yellow touches in the center of the lips, to finish this full volume effect.

Para dar el toque final al look me resiguió una de mis pecas con un Miracle Pen Slimtouch en marrón, suavizando el color con el dedo y me aplicó Make Up Fix Spray, para que el maquillaje durara más.

To finish up the look she draw with the Miracle Pen Slimtouch in brown over a freckle, softening the color with her finger, and then applied Make Up Fix Spray, to make the look last longer.


Y no me fui de ahí con las manos vacías, me dieron una bolsita con productos para probar, pero para saber qué estoy probando tendréis que esperar al jueves. A continuación dejo algunas fotos del look:
